Jim Valentine Scholarship

The Jim Valentine Scholarship is an award provided by the late husband of Coach Kathy Kemper. It has been rewarded to our top 13 performers amongst 1,500 students over Summer 2021.

On August 7, 2021, we have rewarded our top 13 performers in our Summer 2021 Camps, students that performed well in their classes from Scratch Jr. to Web Development. This was made possible by the Jim Valentine Scholarship, an award dedicated to the late Jim Valentine, the Co-Founder of IFE and founder of CS@SC along with Coach Kathy Kemper. To honor his memory and legacy, the scholarship was created to support and offer opportunities to the top performers in our Summer 2021 Camps. The scholarship offers free courses for students or, for rising seniors, a waive for their USC Application Fees. The award also goes to one of our TAs who have gone beyond their position to improve and support our Summer 2021 Camps.
